    Score 92's are out, my dealer has them in.  The are selling for .75 a
    pack.  I didn't buy any, as I was buying a few other items.  He said
    they haven't been selling well at all.

    I bought a few pack for 55 cents and once again Score has put out
    a nice card, got two of the rickey henderson dream teams, if I see
    another I think I'll heave.  Other than that though the cards are
    another high quality. low price effort by Score.  you gotta love these
    guys, although after collating a set last year, I'm waiting for the
    factory set so I'll get all the cards.

    Ditto.  After collating the baseball and football sets last year,
    I learned my lesson.
    
    I called Score, and registered a complaint with them, and asked
    if there was anyway someone who collected wax-packs could get
    those "bonus" cards.
    
    Was told to look up a card dealer in my area.
    
    Told them they were in the baseball of selling baseball cards, not
    in the business of acting as references for card dealers.
    
    Told them I would not buy Score wax products in the future because
    of this, and they said they were sorry to hear this, nothing they
    could do, etc.
    
    Believe it or not, I think the bonus cards in the factory sets are
    REALLY hurting the sales of their wax product.  I'm sure they're
    selling enough to keep the wolf from the door, but I bet a lot more
    people would enjoy collating a nice looking, decently priced set
    like theirs if they didn't have to buy a factory set to get the extra
    cards.
    
    Limiting the Mantle and Joe D cards is another big mistake (IMO). If
    you want to limit the signed ones, that's understandable.  If you
    want to make the unsigned ones "insert" style cards, fine.  I'll pay
    a couple bucks each to get those cards.  But I sure won't pay the
    $50 or $60 dealers want for them ... I'd love to have those cards, and
    if I thought I had a reasonable chance of getting them, would likely
    STILL buy wax.

    Oh yeah, I didn't complain back then, because I bought the factory
    sets FOR the bonus cards.
    
    What I didn't like was that the fact that the bonus cards would be
    included was announced AFTER wax had already been distributed.
    
    Whereas in 1987 everyone KNEW the factory set (Fleer) was going to
    have the World Series card(s).

    What?  No trivia cards?  Topps got rid of gum this year too!  Score
    got rid of Trivia cards in their football packs in 90 Series 2.  They
    actually asked dealers about that one since the Trivia cards were going
    to hold up release of Series 2.  
    
    I'll miss them.  I always liked the late 60s/early 70s Topps inserts.
    And those DiMaggio cards should be easier to come by.  At least Score
    eliminated the Hobby set/Retail set distinction.  The 91 sets are still
    widely available, BTW.

	I batted right handed, played left field. Whenever I see Yaz

	Yaz wasn't special? ya, right. I think you have him confused
	with Clemente. 8^))

	This guy was great! over 400 Home Runs, over 3000 hits. He
	defined the word STYLE!

	Anyway, getting back to Score and this subset. It's not going
	to make me buy Score Baseball, but it will have me looking for
	my favorite player of that decade.

    Ya your right. I always get confused as to which side is which. 8^)

    I pulled a YAZ Franchise card out of a pack of Score II last week.
    (#3 of 4).     How "rare" are these  cards?   I was told by one dealer
    that there was 1 per box.... another dealer said 5 per case.    
    

    A friend of mine got two of the Yaz cards in two boxes he opened.
    I got card #4 which shows Mantle, Musial and Yaz on the same card.
    I opened two boxes by the way and only got one of these cards. So
    it may not be one per box, but more than 5 per case probably.

I bought 4 packs of Score II cards yesterday and got a Yaz franchise card!
The value of this card in my price guide is $65.00.  Is the price expected to 
go up on these cards?

    Prices at shows have been around 15$ for the Franchise cards, with the
    Mantle around 20$. It'll probably drop since they are saying the cello
    boxes yield one or two of these cards. At least that's what one dealer
    said.

    My son got a the Mantle and Yaz cards out of the same pack,and I got
    the tripple photo card Musiel,Mantle,and Yaz card all out of the 
    same box.Last night I was in a card shop and bought the last 5 Jumbo
    series II packs,I got lucky and got another Mantle,I now have 2 Mantle
    cards and I only need the #1 card to complete the set. 
    
    Does anyone want to work out a deal ? ? ?

    The bonus cards in the Score Factory sets are pretty nice.  You get
    7 cards of the World Series (one for each game), 4 more Cooperstown
    cards (same design as last year's), 3 Joe D's and 3 Yaz's.

       Got a MAntle out of the Series 2 box I'm about half way through. Are
    these listed in price guides? I don't see them.
