| Do you really expect to get a value for the ball in a notes file?
Take it to a dealer or collector that specializes in autographed
baseballs.

| Well, us noters could possibly help him out a little. We all know that
the Maris auto is worth about $200 and the Mantle is worth about $35,
Berra is worth about $10 and everyone else is worth about $5. The ball
is worth about $7.00, so you could say its worth about $300. Thats a
ball park figure. We really aren't that stupid in this notes file now
are we?

| I think I can help you out. I'm a good friend of Mr. Alan Rosen. The
company is Mr. Mint, Inc. 70 I Chestnut Ridge Road Montvale, NJ
07645 Tel. (201) 307-0700. If you can wait alittle, he comes up to
Cranston RI every year, the Saturday before the SuperBowl and does a
show down there. You could show him on the spot, and he may buy it.
Good Luck.

| Went to a show this week at C.C.R.I. in Warwick. Mantle, Pepitone,
Tresh, signed balls and autographs. Interesting to hear dealers
talk about the rising demand for Maris autograph. The 1958 Yankee
team could fetch $500.
Of course, Mantle was also not signing bats.
Yogi Berra won't anymore either. Two weeks ago he was at the Holiday
Inn in Warwick and would signed for the last time.
