I have noticed a lot of "coin" entries in this file, but have
not seen any referance the "Junket Geletin" coins from the early
    	60's.
I have a bunch that were being used once a year at a deer camp
for poker chips..!!! I bought them a new set of chips and
    	sucked up the whole sha-bang.
One shows Billy Martin as the twins second baseman and good o'l
Zip Zimmer as the Mets third baseman...

Got ant ideas what these things are worth..?????

I also have a RED SOX pennant with Harry Aganis on it...

Any kind of info would be appretiated....

    	Thanx

Pardon the ignorance, but could someone explain a Salada Coin? Is it
similar to a Topps Coin? Was it a premium? Are they old?

    Enquiring minds want to know...

    Tony,

Thanks for the history lesson! As a person who's never heard of them
before, I appreciate the rundown. One more question, were they regional
or national? I'll have to keep an eye out for them to actually see what
    they look like.

    Thanks again,

    John D.

    today!

85.6Hey..you can't be called that..!!BTOVT::WHEEL_AThu Sep 21 1989 11:2216

Well it looks like I've got to sneak these babies out of my old
homestead real soon...My curiosity is running wild.

Are you saying that the Colt 45 players are worth more than the
    others..??

I also have to find out what happened to the Red Sox players in this
bunch that I bought..(someones kid brother has them I bet)
The Yankee players (only had 4) were traded for the 1960 or 61 N.Y
Giant charcoal drawings from Shell oil co...
Any ideas on importance of those buggers..???

    	See Ya A.W.
