| RE: .3
You're right, Griffey's cards are taking off. Bo's also moving briskly
at above book prices. There was an article in the paper which credited
Jose Canseco with telling Bo " you're the only other person who
can achieve 40/40, but you're not man enough" ooooooooooooooooooohh!!
By the way guys, if you want to talk about Bo and Griffey, start
you're own note! 8^) X 1000

| I think Mitchell's stats over the past few years show that he is
a steadily improving player and not a flash in the pan. And for
another dimension of excitement (in addition to his recent awesome
power display), I hope you all saw the replay of his going-away,
bare-handed catch in the outfield.
And if I can add one more word about Bo (thanks, John), his current
stats aren't too bad for somebody who can't hit a curve. He's also
a gifted fielder with one of the best arms ever. I suspect the
threat of a career-ending knee injury may cool his ardor for his
"hobby." If so we will see a remarkable baseball career.
Canseco, on the other hand, needs to grow up quickly. Otherwise,
Ron Kittle is going to wind up with better career stats. Hang on
to those Kittle rooks!

| RE: .9
They seem to be hard to find around here (S.F. bay area), sorta
like Clark's '87 Fleer rookie. Was the whole '87 set scarce, or
are the cards being hoarded?
