| I have bought vendor boxes back to 76 (topps only). A vendor case
hase 24 boxes @500 cards and should (generally) give 12-15 complete
sets.

| Sometime last fall there was either an ad or an article in SCD about a
recent find of unopened 1956 vendor boxes and it was accompanied
by a photo of some of the cards fanned out in front of a box. Made
me weak in the knees.

| Read the story about the 53 wax case that was opened 8 weeks ago
because the owner was upset wityh the 750.00 quote from a local
dealer. The story will be in most of the hobby publications this
month. NO WAX CASE IS NOT A TYPO. He found 50 mantles. Fifty-
five zero-

I had a chance to view those 56's. They were water damaged. theywere
much beter looking in the photo than in person. I wish Tony was
with me last year when the 1951 wax packs were for sale. 75.00
a pack. 2 thats two cards per pack, no peeking beforehand.
I was a tough call-Tony, what would you do.
