Which players carry the Topp's Rookie All-Star Trophies this year?
I have Andres Thomas, Todd Worrell, Cory Snyder, Andy Allanson,
Pete Incaviglia, and Danny Tarabull. I assume Canseco and Joyner
are also included in this set. That leaves one or two players,
depends if they name a starter and reliever. As you can see, I'm
lazy and don't want to scan all 792 cards in my set :-)
What do you think of the return of these cards?
I like them! Andy Allanson is no prize, but was the best rookie
catcher last year. He's not even in the big leagues this year.
This year there is a bumper crop of good rookie catchers, I'll
give the nod to Matt Nokes for a trophy on next year's cards, if
Topp's stays with the practice.
It will be nice in 10 years to see which good rookies, by position,
are still around and who made it and who didn't. I have a few from
1970 that I never heard of!

| Dale Svem(I'm not sure of the spelling) was the third baseman
on the Topps rookie all-star team. His card did not have the trophy
on it, but the Topps '87 sticker book lists him as it.

| HI all you topps gold trophy rookie fans. i am new to this notes
file, but have bee a card collector since the great set of 1957.
of particular interest is the gold trophy rookies. i have them
all. but i also have a complete check list, and am more than willing
to send it out hard copy, or if there is enough interest find the
time to put it in the notes file. (gold trophy rookie trivia::
can you name the gold trophy rookies who eventually became mvp
exactly ten years after they won the rookie of the year award.
hint one of them is in the inaugural (sp) set of 1960)
