Hi there , I would like someone to confirm interconnection between GS/FDDI with AGL2+ ATM card using E3 mod PHY connecting across E3 Microwave service to a remote VNswitch 900EA also with E3 mod PHY. I know that the 900EA support RFC 1483 , allowing as many as 16 bridge tunnels to be created on its ATM port. Also I read that the GS/FDDI with AGL2+ line card encapsulates FDDI packets using RFC 1483 and it expects to be talking to another bridge using RFC 1483 encapsulation at the VNswitch 900EA end. My sources in VNswitch say this is not yet supported. However, if
you need to have this addressed or more questions answered I would
strongly recommend calling Alice Hassey DELNI::HASSEY dtn (226-7535),
she is the Product Manager.

I hope it will be supported by VNswitchEA V1.5, because in all the NPBU
propaganda being put out, it sure makes you think that it will work.
