Hi, Can someone here, mention some points why should one buy an vidoe-game equipment (e.g. NINTENDO or SEGA..), and not just a PC that can be used, not only for games but also for other implementations. Thanks Nissim.

A video game system costs around a hundred dollars. A computer system costs thousands. A video game system can be tucked into the space near a television. A computer system requires additional space and furniture. A video game system can be plugged in and used. A computer system requires installation, maintenance, learning, and tinkering. Video games generally have better video quality. -- edp

So one who has already a PC, has no good reason buying such an Video-Console (ignoring portability!), would it be right to say so ?. Nissim.

Re .2: Are the games on the PC as good as the games on the video game system? Is there room on the PCs disk for the games? Can you get Ecco the Dolphin for the PC? Or Link to the Past? Or Adventures of Lolo? Or any of dozens of other games? -- edp |
