The "9 year old Expert" is stuck. This has to be first. He got Home Alone II for his GAME BOY over the Holidays and is stuck at the first level. He gets to the end of the first level and he says there is an elevator that he can't get into. He does something, I don't recall what, and some luggage starts coming out of it, but he can't get in and get to the next level. Having never played it I am going on his description. Can anyone give a clue? I did a dir/title and didn't find this one? Dennis Hampstead, NH

779.1 | If it's basically the same game as SNES.... | DNEAST::GILPATRICK_R | On a major learning expedition here! | Thu Jan 07 1993 00:12 | 50 |
Hello, I have the Home Alone 2 game in SNES it sounds the same, as you discribe. On the SNES once you reach the elevator you must stand in front of the up button on the wall and press the,(I don't remember off hand if it's the x, or y button) which makes him press the button. Then you must avoid the luggage coming out of the end door, by either jumping over it, or skidding into it,(the door that the luggage comes out of is NOT the elevator) and every time the elevator button flashes you hit it again, and continue to avoid the luggage. The elevator is really slow to come down, so just keep hitting the elevator call button, and avoiding the luggage. Once the elevator gets there you just get in front of it and move up into it. It will take you up to the 11th floor and then you go through the rooms gathering weapons, and avoiding the bosses, when you've got all you want, make your way back to the elevator, and hit the call button, and you'll go on up to the 14th, 15, 16 floor where you must do the same, and then at the end of the hall on the 16th floor you will take the elevator down to the kitchen. Hope this helps, :^) Gil | |||||

Thanks. When I got home last night they had figured it out anyway. Guess what threw them was the fact that you just have to keep hitting it. Thanks again... Dennis |
