Can anybody help ??? I read an article at the weekend (in the Sun) about a conversion key which enables the UK NES to play US cartridges without needing any internal changes to the system. I didn't get a good look at the article and can't remember where to get these adaptors or the cost. The adaptor plugs in to the cartridge slot and the US games plug into the adaptor.

An adapter to play US cartridges on a UK machine is now avaliable for about 25 pounds uk. However I believe that the Sun artical was about the SNES 16 bit machine not the older 8 bit NES. If you look inside any of the Ninetendo magazines you will find mail order companies who will supply for the SNES. This months copy of TOTAL ( nintendo ) mag has a good review and write up on one. If you wish to run US games on the old 8 bit NES machine you need to open it up and do the conversion mentioned earlier in this notes file. Dave | |||||

Check out VTX, I have an adaptor and two US imported games for sale. They work perfectly. -Tony (Newbury, England) |
