685.0. "250 in one" by KENT::KENT (Peter Kent - ESB Marketing, 223-1933) Sun Oct 27 1991 13:00

On a recent trip to Hong Kong, I bought one of those cartridges that
has 250 games in it. It requires a converter called a honey bee. The
cartridge worked in a smaller deck at the store, but here it doesn't
seem to work. A jumbled screen comes up and music, but I can't seem to
get it to sort out. I put the game in upside down the first time. Is
it possible that I damaged the cartridge?

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Is it work yet...?
Put the game in up side down won't damaged the cartridge.

I have the 190 in 1 and it's working well untill now, kids like this 190
in 1 very much because it have a lot of old games in it.

Also 190 in 1 is available in CA.

My brother picked up a 191-in-1 game cartridge and a Honey Bee adapter for me
from HongKong. The cartridge worked on my brother's system but won't work
on mine. I either get the power light and a blank screen just keeps flickering
on and off, or I get a completely jumbled but stable screen. I orginally
thought it was the contacts but all the cleaning didn't make a difference.

I was told by an "expert" that those multiple-games cartridges normally
would only work on "older" console, which may explain why it would work on
my brother's system and not on mine.

Being desperate since there is no chance of getting a refund, I was trying
everything. I attached the cartridge to a Game Genie and got the Game
Genie programming menu, but still flashing on and off. By keep hitting the
START button on the controller, I was able to get to the stable multi-game
menu consistently. *** EUREKA ****

I don't know why it works. My kids don't care; they are having a great
time with all the games.
