When I use the RF Out of my Nintendo (to the RF In on my Monitor) the colors look fine, but if I use the Video Out (to the Video In on my TV/Monitor) the colors look pale and washed-out (especially the reds). The colors from my SNES and Genesis look fine using the Video connections. Has anyone else experienced this and/or have any ideas about it? Is my NES semi-defective, or does it just work this way? Thanks. Mike

Re: .0
I use the Video Out connection on my NES and I don't have any problem with
the color.
My monitor serves double duty with both the NES and as CGA monitor for my PC.
When I switch between the PC and the NES I have to play with the brightness
but other than that it's okay.
I assume you've played with the brightness, contrast and color controls on
your monitor?

I recall reading in the instruction manual that if your TV/monitor has
an "Auto Color" function, you should turn it off when using the NES.
It didn't differentiate between the RF and Video ports, however.
I also haven't really noticed a difference between the two.
