630.0. "Any games for young girls?" by SALEM::RUSSO () Tue Apr 23 1991 18:10

Help!!! My daughter is searching for a game she can really
relate/enjoy. Can anyone make any suggestions; maybe a game
your daughter or some young girl you know has enjoyed. To give
you an idea of the types of games she does play... she loves
Cabbage patch kids on Coleco and Dr Mario on Nintendo. Two
player games are more interesting to her then 1 player.. she
likes the competition although she enjoyed Tetris until DR Mario
came out. Any ideas would be appreciated.

My 11 year-old daughter enjoys Legend of Zelda, Mickey
Mousecapades, and Final Fantasy. I have an almost-four year-old
daughter who gets near the screen and shoots the ducks in
    Duck Hunt!

thanks for the ideas. I forgot Duck Hunt. My daughter likes that one
also. She is really good too but gets a kick out of the dog laughing
when she misses so sometimes she lets a duck go by on purpose.

I'll try some of the suggestions. again, thanks Robin

    	Hi,

Depending on the ages of your kids you may want to try the
Sesami Street games for Nintendo, my girls enjoy playing them.

Also there is a menu driven adventure game call
Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom that just came out for the
Nintendo. there is a write-up on it just a couple of entries back.

Also, Nintendo says that there will be a Little Mermaid and a
Barbie game comming out pretty soon

Also on the way for the Nintendo are the following

    	Tailspin (Disney cartoon)
    	BigBird Hide and Speak
    	Mickey Mouse (GameBoy)

I don't have the Nintendo Power mag with me now
but I will try to remember it and add more kid games to this note

I hope someone can help.....my daughters were recently given a SEGA
unit with some games, mostly sports. I was at a flea market and picked
up a game - ALF. This game has no instructions and we are at a loss.
We have figured out some things on our own but we need HELP. Does any
    one have this game?

    Thanks,
    Roberta

From your node name I assume you're in the Marlboro area.

You might try calling a place like Save the Princess. They deal in
used video games for a number of manufacturers at reasonable prices.
Telephone 508-875-8556. Located at 957 Worcester Road, Framingham, Ma.
They're located on the northwest side of Route 9 off Edgell Road.
