Stop Aliens From Shooting At You -
1 - On the first stage, destroy every alien, except ONE of the two leftmost
bees. (these are the aliens in the bottom rows of the formation.)
2 - Now comes the boring part. Dodge this solitary alien and his bombs for
5 to 20 minutes. Generally you can avoid his attacks simply by hanging
out in the far right corner of the screen.
3 - Watch his firing. When the alien has wrapped through the bottom of the
screen four times, without shooting at all, you shoot him and end the
stage. The aliens will not shoot again until the end of the game.

Negative World -
There is only one minus level (-1). Getting there is not so easy, and I'm
not sure you really want to. It's an endless underwater world. You swim,
you run out of time, you die.
At the end of world 1-2, stand on the exit pipe, and break bricks 2 and 3
overhead. Then keep jumping and trying to go to the right. After many
tries you may get Mario to go through the wall. You'll come out in the
warp zone and take either the left or right pipe (not the middle one).
Coin rooms -
Try going down some of the pipes that the flowers are on in worlds ending
in 1 and 2 there is normally one that will take you to an underground coin
room.
Flag pole -
To hit 5,000 points at the flag pole requires a high speed jump. My
favorite technique is to stand on the second-to-last step, and hold
the run button while pressing the directional indicator to the right.
Then, when I am ready to jump, all I have to do is quickly press and
release jump to put me on the top step, and then quickly press jump
again and hold it until I contact the flag pole. With a little practice,
this is trivial.
If you time your landing on the flag pole so that your jump lands
you there with the last digit on the clock reading 1, 3, or 6, you
will receive that number of fireworks, and 500 points for each fire-
work bonus.
World 1-1
In the last tube before the gap (I think it is tube #3), Mario can descend.
Before you decsend the tube, move to the right as far as you can without
pulling the tube off screen. Somewhere overhead, within reach of Mario big
and small, is a hidden brick. When you hit this brick, a 1-up mushroom
appears. If you are careful, you can get this mushroom and still descend
into the tube. When you exit this tube, you will come out at the last tube
on world 1-1. Don't worry about missing anything: you wouldn't have missed
much.
World 1-2 -
Above the exit tube for world 1-2 are a row of bricks. If you jump
on top of these bricks, and proceed to the right, you will reach the
warp zone, and you can skip to worlds 2, 3, or 4.
World 3-1
There is a way to get quite a few men at the end of world 3-1, and there
is a short cut to get there. In world 1-2 when the two elevators come
along (first one going down, second going up) take the second one up to
the top and jump off to the right when you get above the bricks then run
right. You should reach warp zone 1 which allows you to warp to world 2,
3, or 4. If you go to world 3 and proceed to the end, right as you come
near the end you should see two turtles coming down the stairs, jump over
the first one and get on the second step on the far right. When the 2nd
turtle is starting to fall off of the 4th step jump up, with practice
mario will come down on the turtle and should continually jump up and down
on him knocking him back into the stairs. If he stops just hit jump again.
Keep doing this for as long as you like but don't go over 99 men. It is
hard to keep track of how many men you have because it goes to funny
graphic characters after 9 so be warned.
SMB2
World 8-4 -
Run around to you get to the three ants(or whatever those gray things are:
jump over and go till you see a tube thats up in the air. Knock down the
jumping turtles(2) and just to the left of the tube is a hidden brick.
Wait for the flower to go down jump on top then go down the tube.
Short Cut To Boss -
World 1-1
Go inside cave, climb up vine, jump left of water fall, blast wall with
bombs. If you can time it, fine. If you can spare the life you might
just jump up while holding the bomb. Go through door and jump off the
top of the screen (you will not be able to see yourself). Go to the left.
World 3-1 Note: This shortcut cannot be done by MARIO or TOAD
Go up clouds, go up carpet ride, go up vine, go to the left most part of
the cloud, jump as HIGH, as FAR, and as FAST to the left as you can, go
through the door, blast the wall, jump off the top of the screen and go
left.
World 6-3
Climb the ladder. To the left is quicksand and a wall. The wall has a
hole big enough for your head (but you can't see it). Go into the
quicksand and keep pushing left as you sink. When you start moving under
the wall, start jumping and keep jumping while pushing to the left. On
the other side of the wall is the door you go through. Cross the clouds
to the left. Through the door is the boss.
Warps -
All WARPS have the same procedure
1) Drop "bottle" near "trash can"
2) Enter Sub Con world
3) Get on top of "trash can"
4) Push down
World 1-3
Get "bottle" from under log. Take it to the "trash can" at the right of
the screen. Warp to World 4-1.
World 3-1
Go through 1st door. Fall down water fall. Go through door and find the
bottle. Take it to the "trash can" at the right of the screen. Warp to
World 5-1.
World 4-2
Get bottle from pile of rocks. Take it to trash can under ice bridge.
Warp to World 6-1.
World 5-3 Note: Best to be LUGI
Climb ladder. Jump onto ledge with "trash can". Get the bottle. Warp to
World 7-1.

Tecmo Bowl
Passwords -
This is a set of passwords that allows you to play any matchup at the
Tecmo Bowl level of the cartridge of the same name. Find the column
underneath the name of the team you want to play with, and go down to the
row corresponding to the team you want to play against and enter in the
code. As you can see, this even allows you to play the same team. (Not
possible under ordinary game conditions.)

give up a container heart or 50 rupies to proceed (bring rupies!)

WHITE SWORD: The white sword is located in the cave above the waterfall
- you can get this after completing Level 1.
MAGIC SWORD: At the dead-end at the far right of the uppermost part of
the Overworld, there is a rock formation shaped like an arrow; move
the stone at the arrow's tip, and the entrance to the cave will appear.
LETTER FOR MEDICINE: In the second level of hils above the graveyard,
there is a screen with rock formations of five stones on the right and
left; if you move the stone at the left point of the triangular rock
formation at the left, the cave appears
CONTAINER HEARTS: Some locations -
1) In the upper left cemetary, second row down, second stone from the
left (you will need the power bracelet to move the headstone.
2) In the lower left section of the desert area in the upper right of
the Overworld; blow the whistle and the cave appear.
3) Across the river from the far right raft launch.
4) On the docks on the river at far right.
NOTES:
1) If you need to buy another shield, the store under the tree at the
center corner of the lake has one for 90 rupies (what a bargain!).
They also have the enemy bait for 100 rupies.
2) If you play the magic flute in the Overworld, it still takes you to
the entrances of the levels you've already been to. However, in
certain areas (2nd screen over from where Level 3 was in Quest 1,
and one screen down from the lower right corner of the lake) it
exposes caves with treasures, too.
3) In the levels, there are blue and red fuzzballs that float around
the rooms and cannot be killed. If you touch a red one, it robs you
of your power. Touching a blue one afterwards restores your power.
The white ones (as in Quest 1) temporarily stun you.
4) In some rooms, you can only WALK THROUGH the walls (bombs don't
work).
