    	There are 8 stages or as they are referred to in the story 
    	as 8 dreams
    
    	I also got this fro Xmas and like it a lot
    	I have made it to dream #7  
    
    	You won't have to worry long befor the game gets more 
    	difficult, wait to you get to dream #5,6 and 7
    	these are pretty tough stages and it took me between 8-10 hrs
    	to get to dream 7 
    
    
        hope you  have fun with this game  I have to start all over again

    There's 8 stages?  Great.  I thought I read in some magazine that there
    were 5.   (in a section where the pro's rate the new games) 
    That's good to know.
    
    Already, I'm finding dream 2 is much harder than dream 1.

    Anyone make it to the end yet? I have made it to dream eight but can't
    get past the screen with the alligators.

    In dream 4 (Dark Sea), is the 5th key hidden or can it be seen like the 
    other keys?  (hints only please).  I thought it may be buried in the
    last sand bar, closest to the door to dream 5, but I haven't figured
    out how to get a crab over there.

There are some underwater tunnels where one appears to be a dead end but isn't. 
Go to the end of any apparent dead ends. At the correct one, a new screen will
appear continuing the tunnel.  The key is in there somewhere.  Hope that helps.

    Wow, dream 8 is HARD.  My system has been powered up for a week now.
    I don't want to start back at the beginning.  I finally made it up to
    the final boss (I hope he's the final one).  Hope to knock him off
    tonight.

    I finally knocked off the big guy and saved Slumberland.
    
    I'd rate this game a solid 9.5.  It's right up there with Mario 3.

    	I haven't tried it yet but I read it on the Enet 
    
    	that there is a stage select for this game!
    
    	I'm going to try it when I get home tonight or tomorrow
    
    	This info comes from a Japaneese mag and supposed to 
    	work on both the Japan version and the US version of the games
    
    	The person who wrote the article say it works on both
    
    
    	I've made it to dream 8-2 on my own....now I can't wait to be able
    	to select the dream to 8-2 and play from there.
    
    	This will save mucho time.
    
    
    	Do you have access to the Enet ???  Lots of good video stuff
    	on there.
    
    
    
    	PS  I won't write the dream stage select in here now
    	    until I check it out and only after there is enough

  I'll second that motion. I told my wife about the code and if I don't

Now is the time to go to the next reply should you not want

On the start screen, press the following on controller 1:
UP, SELECT, LEFT, RIGHT, A, A, B
You will now see DREAM SELECT appear under START on the title screen!
Press A to select the dream.  Each press advances the dream by one (so
if you press once you'll start at Dream 2).

I'm having trouble with Dream 8
(need help behind form feed, may contain spoilers)




I can beat the King Penguin at the end of 8-1

I can make it to the top of 8-2 (the stage where you get the 1up) and can get  
the frog but usually with one life and somwtimes
I can get to the 8-3 level (where the roof lowers)

Is there an easy way to get the frog and get out of that stage and still
have more than one life to go on with?


How do you get past 8-3 without getting squished all the time.

    All I can tell you about gettng to the frog with more than one life, is
    to keep practicing.  It took me quite a while but I was finally able to
    get all the way to the end of dream 8 without losing a life.  There's
    no hidden 1-ups. 
    
    
    Just in case this is a spoiler for anyone .....
    
    
    If you can make it to the end of dream 8, there are 3 or 4 1-ups that
    will help you defeat the final boss, and you'll need every one of them.
    
    As for the lowering ceiling, Keep ducking when it's on it's way down.
    You have to time it right at a couple of spots.  You'll have to jump
    on and off a couple of the high spots before the roof comes back down,
    because there's no room to duck without getting creamed by the roof
    when it comes back down.  
    
    Good luck.  It gets much harder from here on.  You're about half way
    through dream 8.

    I'm relatively new at this game amd I am stuck at world 1-2 (or is it 
    world 2?). Anyway, it is where you have to climb on the gorilla's back
    to climbthe tree, then get on the lizards back to get in the cave. I
    then try to get on the bee's back to fly out but I can never stay on
    the bee's back long enough and I die.
    
    How do I get past this part? Do I need the gorilla or the bee? Do I
    have to do something special? I need an outright spoiler because I have
    been stuck here too long. and am considering returning or selling the
    game.

    Don't give up yet.  IT's  a great game.  You have the right idea.  You
    do need the bee but the bee only flys for a limited time as you already
    found out.  You have to fly and land on each platform.  Rest a second
    and take off and land on the next platform until you reach the top.
    They have the platforms at just the right distance.  You just barely
    have enough time to reach them if you fly directly to them.

    Well I need help on this one.  I've managed to get past the penguin,
    and the pointy ceilings in Dream 8, but I can't seem to defeat the
    flying manta's.
    
    I've managed to hit it with the beam a bunch of times, but it doesn't
    seem to help.  Is there something I'm missing?

    I think this games is great..but I'm stuck on Dream 8 where I have to
    get past the penguins. I can't figure out what I have to do here. I've
    figured out that I have to hit something with the wand, but whatever I
    do doesn't seem to work. Any spoilers would be GREATLY appreciated!
    
    Also, does anybody know if the stage select sequence works on British
    systems. We've had our system powered on for nearly 2 weeks now! Does
    anybody know if this will do it any damage?
