562.0. "Address of Nintendo Corporate Headquarters" by BMW320::BERNSTEIN (Cornered by the street ducks...) Fri Dec 07 1990 14:26
Hi all.
I have a question that I'm hoping that you Nintendo Wizards might be able
to help me with.
I have a young friend who would like to do a Science Project on how a Nintendo
works. Since he's still fairly young, he wants to give a general, simple
explanation, with some diagrams, on how the major components work together.
[We're not going to discuss the type of ALU the microprocessor uses 8^)]
He's written a letter that he'd like to send someone in the corporate
headquarters that asks two things: (1) if they can send a nintendo that
looks like one, but doesn't have to work, that he can open up and label the
parts, and (2) if they can help him with a fairly simple description of the
module and the components therein. I have looked in some corporate directories
for their address, but without knowing the parent company, I've turned up
nothing so far.
Does anyone here know where I should write to? Is there perhaps a Corporate
Service Group that would probably have junk Nintendos? Is there any particular
department in their Corporate HQ that would be appropriate for me to
contact? Does anyone here have any of this technical information to get
him going on this project?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
.steve.
p.s. My friend used to have a nintendo, but he lives in the housing projects
in Worcester, MA, and it was stolen last summer. 8^(

Since my phone book is handy, here's Nintendo's listing:
