I tried this game about two weeks ago, and enjoyed it. It's very
similar to Nobunaga's Ambition, mostly the same rulers, etc. The most
enjoyable difference for me was the combat sequence. Each army is made
up of Lancers, rifles, cavalry, infantry, and HQ pieces. When you
enter battle mode, your army is shown on the screen as actual men, one
man representing so many of its type. I played for about ten years
game time and didn't get too far. This looks like a game which could
take a long time before anyone could really get bored, unless one
becomes bored from getting beaten.

My son passes along the following question: Can anyone supply some
good starting tactics, e.g. how do you conquer your first opponent?
Thanks in advance,
Mark (and Evan)
