476.0. "Kwirk (Game Boy)" by GSRC::WEST (Help stamp out and abolish redundancy !) Fri Jun 22 1990 12:31

Has anyone else played this game yet ?

It's another one of the puzzler type games. Simple graphics but very
entertaining.

There are two modes (besides the .VS mode) that you can choose from,
'Going Up?' and 'Heading Out?'.

The Going Up? mode features rooms and floors. You have to manuever
blocks around to gain access to stairs which leads to more rooms.

Heading Out? is a continuous tunnel of rooms. You solve each puzzle
to exit and then head to the next room. You can choose to have anywhere
from 1 room up to 99 rooms. You play against a clock and for bonus points.
You can also choose from any of three skill levels.

With either mode you can choose the display angle to play with. There is
either the 'Diagonal View' or the 'Bird's-Eye View'. I personally like the
bird's-eye view better. The diagonal view trys to use shadowing for a 3D
look but it's not quite there.

This game has proven quite challenging (and frustrating :^) ).

In a limited sense - you move and turn obstacles to progress, but you
don't have monsters, or portable blockers (framers in lolo). It is a
    lot of fun (and frustration!)
