423.0. "Revenge of the Gator (Game Boy)" by GSRC::WEST (Variables don't, Constants aren't) Mon Feb 26 1990 12:32

Has anyone else played this game yet? I really like it.

Revenge of the Gator is a pinball game with several different screens. I
just picked it up this week-end and so far so good.

The only thing I find difficult on the eyes is the screen-switch, but other
than that this is a fun game.

We just got this last weekend and we like like it lot. My wife
like it because she can score better than me. The screen-switch
is a little annoying, but you get use to it. The thing I found
confusing was the naming of the screens should have matched what
you played first (starting on the C/D screens), the manual didn't
explain that to well. You do figure it out, so it's no biggie.

    Overall I like it!

Just got this game last night; it's a lotta fun!

There are lots of neat touches in this game:

o - The opening screen, where the 'gators give you their little song-
    	and dance....

o - When you hit the ball up the left lane and it *almost* makes it to
the second bonus screen ... agony!

o - The first bonus screen, duly announced by banner-bearing 'gator
    	"cherubs". I laughed out loud!

o - Even when you lose your ball, you get some compensation by the
sight and sound of the ball being swallowed by the midget 'gator.

Boy, wouldn't this be fun in a full-size pin game?

I got it for Christmas and I like it a lot. Do you know how many levels
    there are in the game?

    James,

There are four main levels (not including the one at the bottom where
the gator swallows your ball) plus three bonus stages.
