Mr. Moderator, I hope you don't mind me putting this in here. Please hide hints and spoilers after a form feed. Some of us are trying to get through the games on our own, but like to reed the notes file. It is very upsetting to find spoilers and hints at the beginning of the note. To hide a spoiler or a hint just hold down the ctrl key and hit the l key. Then This is what you get. SO Please use form feeds to hide hints and/or spoilers. Bill

ctrl doesn't work on my PC for some reason. Is there another way to form feed other than hitting the <cr> key 20 times? When I do it it says Key CTRL_L_KEY currently has no definition. Jeff

I use DECwindows Notes and it ignores <FF>'s when I'm reading notes. I prefer to see a bunch of blank lines to separate spoilers. Actually, just a few blanks are enough. I just don't read the spoiler even though its on the screen. -Dave

You can *ALWAYS* enter a formfeed through character cell VAXNotes at any time by entering the command "TPU copy_text (ascii (12))". As far as <CR>'s vs formfeeds: I *don't* use the DECWindows Notes (since it's not layered on VAXTPU), and I use the CCT Notes on a 48 line DECTerm. Thus, 20 <CR>'s isn't enough by half.
