265.2 | An explanation | SOFBAS::WALKER | Tue Apr 25 1989 15:49 | 29
This game is great! Two people play at the same time. In the process of setting traps for the other person, you sometimes do yourself in and that is part of the fun! As was mentioned somewhere else in this conference, it has alot is tense competition and I usually end up punching my husband when I run into one of his traps. Here is a little explanantion of the game. Two spys are in a building. There are four objects that must be found, money,passport,suitcase,papers. The spy who finds all of these must then get out of the building and fly away. The items are hiddend behind pictures, in fileing cabinets and desks etc. Unless you have the suitcase you can only carry one item at a time. Thereofre once you find it you need to hide somewhere that you know of. Each spy has the capability of setting traps i.e. water over a closed door, bombs, etc. If you spring a trap you 'die' and start back at your orininal position in the building. There are ways to prevent 'death' from a trap, for example an umbrella will protect you from the water. Both players play at the same time. One player gets the top half of the screen and the other the bottom half. Since you are so intent on finding the items and setting traps there is no chance to watch what the other spy is doing. Very intense. There are many levels, each of which has a more complicated building to search. Oh! you can also play against the game instead of another person. Try it, you'll love it!

Childworld USED to have this months ago. I don't know if they still carry it. I would call first. Also Toys-R-Us has a good selection.

I rented this game a couple of days ago. After playing 1 hour, I won against the computer at the highest level. I believe this game is best played against an opponent. The computer wasn't very smart and so wasn't challenging. It kept on blowing itself with its own traps. DL

re. -1 Playing against a human makes all the difference in the world. My husband didn't really get hooked until we were both playing. Try it again! Barbara
