| I have been playing this game off and on for a while and I believe
I have found the potion. My problem is that I can't figure out
how to get at it. It seems to be encased in another world you warp
to. I think you have to get special "keys" to obtain the potion.
Send me mail and I will let you know how to get to this world.

Hi,
I have Super Pitfall also but haven't got far at all
perhaps one of you can help me along.
I haven't even got pass the 1st screen yet(I think its still
the 1st screen)
I have gone from the starting area all the way to the left
and right as far as I can go. Also rode the baloon up as
far as I could and have also been down under the lakes
were the fish are but I can't seem to get anywhere else
Is there a secret door I have missed?????
I have collected different symbols that I believe let you
into other areas but can't seem to find the area in which
to use them. Also how does one use them once you get them?
By symbols I mean the Club and Spade you get near some of the
piles of gold when you jump they appear.

Thanks, but I have finally beat the game. If you have any
questions you can either post them here or send me mail. I will try to
help. This was one really tough game to beat. The actual thinking
wasn;t too hard, just some of the things you had to do were.
RE: .2
You need to keep at it. possible spoiler.
You need to find all 4 suits. Eventually you will run into
walls with those symbols on them. They are keys for these walls. You
need to swing on the ropes to find these doors. I can't really remember
off hand but if you have some more specific questions, ask away.

I don't know if anyone has already found this out,but you can
continue the game were you left off after you die.
After you die and after the game over banner it puts you back
at the game selection for 1 or 2 players.
When you get this title screen you simply do the following
press select then press the "A" button 3 times then press select
again and then press start.
This allows you to continue the game from where you died.
You will know if you did it right when you see Harry below
the number 2 on the selction for 2 players.
You don't get any points but you get to keep all of the suits
you had when you died.
I made it to 2 different rooms so far. One was a club room with
only extra bonus points and the other was a diamond room wich
seemed like a whole new level of play. I found what looks like
a cat in a cage??? What is this for and how do I get it out!?

If you read the book that cat in a cage is Quick Claw. You need
to rescue him. read hints behind FF
You need to find the key. Also, in the area with Quick Claw
is the potion to save the princess (or whatever her name was).
I found that the game pretty much needs to be executed in a
certain order. It can be done out of order but it makes it really
difficult. If you have any more questions you can mail me if you

| AFTER ALL THIS SEARCHING FINALLY SOME SUPERPITFALL FREAKS!!
I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS FRUSTRATING GAME FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS. I
DO HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.
1. WHAT IS THAT HUGE MASK LOCATED NEAR ALL THE FIREBALLS DOING??
AM I SUPPOSED TO SHOOT IT OR JUST DUCK AS USUAL???
2. I'VE BEEN ABLE TO GET ALL THE SUITS TOGETHER, BUT I AM HAVING
A HARD TIME WITH THE DIAMOND. WAYNE, YOU SAY THIS IS THE KEY
TO GETTING AT QUICKCLAW?? HOW TO YOU GET BACK TO THE DIAMOND
ROOM ONCE YOU GET THE DIAMOND??? THE WATERFALL ALWAYS SEEMS
TO GET IN THE WAY.
THANKS FOR THE TIP ABOUT CONTINUEING THE GAME. I CAN'T WAIT TO
GO HOME TO PLAY IT!!!!!

| I just bought this game and the farthest I've got to is past the
spikes that go up and down to the wall with the square on it. Problem
is, I couldn't pass it because I didn't have the square. I would
like to know where you jump to obtain this. Spoilers are welcome.

My son rented a game called Pitfall II. It seems, from the
description, to be the sme game as Super Pitfall. I noticed no one
has added to this discussion in a couple of years. If anyone has
a good memory.. I would also like to know the answers to the
questions asked in notes .6-.8 Any spoilers are VERY welcome.
