Conference rusure::nintendo

    I was thinking about the same thing.  If many of the participants of
    this conference attended, nobody would have a place large enough.
    Perhaps we could divide into groups and have smaller get-togethers.  Or
    somebody could just figure out how many people they can handle, and
    then the first people to respond attend. 
    
    Another idea was to take the intersection of two groups, like the
    Nintendo and Singles conferences.  That way, all the guests would have
    two things in common.

    I think the idea of using a DEC conference room for this sounds
    great!!!!  Down at WFR there are two fairly large conference rooms
    that could accomodate at least 50-65 (tables and chairs around the
    walls, nothing in the middle) and 40-50 in the other and they are
    right across the hall from each other.  
    
    I would be willing to bring in my set w/game cartridges.  If we
    could get others to do the same, maybe we could have several set
    up in each room.  GOT AN IDEA!!!!  How about a "pot-luck" type of
    get together where everyone attending could bring something to eat,
    e.i., cheese and crackers, cold cuts, breads, pot./mac. salad, etc.
    
    Any ideas?????

    If a DEC conference room is used, we should get it officially
    sanctioned.  I would also suggest a weekend; it would be difficult for
    me to make it to Westboro otherwise.

    Westboro sounds great and bring food/drink also sounds great.
    
    Do you think you can officially arrange to have use of these conference
    rooms on a weekend?  (Come on Mary Ann I know you got connections!!!)
    
    I think a weekend would be best for all of us.
    
    And I would also bring in my NES and a few games (don't have many
    right now but will bring in some)    and refreshments as well.
    
    If we can get official permision to use these rooms on a weekend
    I think a lot of the participants of this conference would have
    a good time there.
    
    I think it would be nice to have a few more game systems there
    if we can get this get together off the ground come the warm weather.
    That way we could get thru a lot of games and problems people are
    having moving on to higher levels.
    
    Keeps us informed on any progress you make concerning these rooms.
    
    
    Also if anyone else who likes this idea and may have access to rooms
    please keep us advised that way this get together won't come to
    pass as just an idea that could of been.

    i sold my nintendo a while ago, but i still read this conference,
    what i wanted to tell you is if you have any contacts in tewksbury
    (TWO) - they have two rooms here with projection TV's (you know
    the 10 foot screen size?) ...i happen to know they have standard
    inputs like a home TV...

    I don't think I would have any problem getting the rooms on weekends
    -- I control them!!!!!!!!  As far as getting the "blessings"  I
     think I can get that too seeing that we are all DEC employees!!!!
    Just tell me when.  I think that we should get a feeling on how
    may people will be attending --- anyone wanting to attend should
    either drop a line here with their names and nodes or send to me
    on FSOA::MSCHRAM.
    
    Guess you know me well Wayne -- What connections -- moi!!!  I would
    have connections????  Sounds like the mob!!!!  Well----close!!!!!!!!
    
    Any suggestions, please respond - As far as food - Maybe we could
    even do a big PIZZA PARTY!!!!!!!  Everyone donate a couple of bucks
    for drinks and assorted pizzas.  Whatever you want to do-------keep
