201.1 | Try TRYSOFT for fast games | MISFIT::GEMMEL | and now here's Mac and Tosh... | Fri Feb 10 1989 09:19 | 10 |
| While I don't know about mailorder, Ive seen Silo with the control
deck only package.
What I did what to mention is TRYSOFT! I ordered Link from them
on Wednesday and Federal Express delivered it on Thursday (same
week)! FedEx must be their standard delivery method, and it's only
$5 on top of the game! The people that answer the phone are very
attentive and try to make ordering as easy as possible.
Ok, the phone number is 800-877-6274. If it's busy, keep trying.

They also use UPS Blue Label which is how they sent SMB II to me.

| When I placed my order they *said* Blue Label. When they *shipped*
the order it went FedEx standard (which is guarentee next-next-day)
which is the same as UPS Blue. I've found UPS takes every day they
can while FedEx does it as fast as they can.

Will Fed. Expresss or UPS leave the package if there is no one home
during the day?

| Re .6:
UPS behavior varies according to location; some drivers will leave a
package almost in plain sight, some will only leave it if a neighbor
signs for it.
I don't know about Federal Express; call them. If they need a
signature, you can leave a signed note asking that the package be left
in a certain place.
