"Fun from afar"
You no longer have to sit tangled in wires with
your nose pressed to the screen to play video
games. Now you can control the action from the
other side of the room.
The Freedom Stick sends infrared signals to a
video monitor so wires (and eyestrain) don't
interfere with your game. Developed in Canada by
Camerica Corp., the joy stick has an automatic
rapid-fire switch and is compatible with Atari,
Commodore, Nintendo, and other systems. It sells
for $70.
