I'm tired of searching around for games, and I don't like the prices.
So I called Nintendo to find out what was involved in becoming a
dealer. They gave me the number of a representative who gave me the
name of a distributor.
The distributor says they have no minimum order, but they are not
accepting new accounts until at least January. I'm going to call back
then and get more details.
It seems to me this would be a nicer way to obtain games; just order
and wait, and cut out the retailer. (It's also possible to deal
directly with the representative, but there are minimum requirements.)
If anybody else would like to be in on this; let me know. I would
happily place group orders as long as you could pick up the games in
Nashua. (I would need commitments to pay for what you ordered; if you
bought it somewhere else, I don't want to be stuck.)
With any luck, next year we'll let the good games come to us.
