| Lisa,
I bought track and field about a year ago, and enjoy it throughly.
It consists of eight different events, 100 meter dash, long jump,
110 meter hurdles, javelin, skeet shoot, archery, triple jump,
and high jump.
The game normally starts at the 100 meter dash, but you can start
at any of the other events if desired. You can also play against
the computer or another person. The key to most events is how
rapidly you can push the buttons. You can set world records for
best times in the events, especially if you have a controller with
rapid fire.
All in all, not a bad game, and quite worth the money. Enjoy!!!

| I bought track and field a year ago and was dissapointed withthe
basic control pad I had. You couldn't make the men run fast enough
to clear the high jump and other obstacles. Recently I bought a
new control pad that has a turbo button and now the game is pretty
exciting...Have fun with it.......

153.5 | Try to find the "Power Pad"! | CXCAD::LUCIER | Kimballs Special, CREAM & NUTS | Wed Jan 04 1989 11:41 | 9 |

Got the track and field cartridge with the new Power Pad (the 4'x5'
controller you work with your feet). It's GREAT!!!!!
Using the power pad makes you break into a sweat and is NOT for
use by professional couch potatoes.
I different definition of fun!

Can you use the power pad as an actual controller in other games??
I haven't tried it yet, I'll try it with the games I got to see if it
works. The problem will be which buttons to push. I heard/saw that you
should be able to use it for "Link II" but haven't seen anything
confirming it. Can anyone with the instructions qualify this?
