I inquired NEC ,major supermarkets and toy shops in Japan.
But there answer was "We can't sell directly". (shop -> abroad)
Sorry... By the way ,How did you get the PC-Engine?

I can't not buy the PC-ENGINE here in Germany.
A friend from me visit's Japan for 3 Month and he brought me
a PC-ENGINE as Gift. It is realy bad that I can't order the
Games for the PC-ENGINE from Japan.
Because NEC-Germany say to me "The PC-ENGINE
lunch in Germany not earlier as in two years, Sorry..."
Sorry, that I write here in the "Nintendo" notes but I found no
other conference to inform me over the PC-ENGINE (Software+Hardware).

I am with DEC in Merrimack, N.H. This PC ENGINE has got my
interest. I would like to get one. you mentioned in note 117.5
about the Gift Center. What is it and how do I get to talk to the
people there calling from the States. By the way how much is it
in American dollars. Thanks for any information.

THERE ARE MANY EXCELLENT GAME MACHINES IN JAPAN NOW.
NES IS PIONEER IN JAPANESE GAME MACHIN.
ANY WAY, PC-ENGINE IS MADE BY NEC.
IT COSTS 24,800 YEN (PLEASE TRANSFER U.S. $.)
SOFT 4,500 <-> 5,500 YEN. (IT IS AS MUCH AS NES'S.)
ITS SOUND,PICTURE AND MOVEMENT ARE EXCELLENT.
BUT I MUST SAY SEGA'S MEGA DRIVE IS BEST ONE (NOW). CPU:68000(16BIT)!
IT COSTS 21,000 YEN!!! AND I HAVE IT.
I THINK PC-ENGINE WILL BE ON-SALE IN U.S. NEXT YEAR.
MEGA DRIVE WILL,TOO.
I THINK IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY AS ORIGINAL GAME AND SELECT NES,
PLAY AS ARCADE MACHINE AND SELECT PC OR MEGA.
P.S. I LIKE ALL COMPUTER GAME MACHINES. OF COURSE FAMI-COM!
