One of my kids got mad and threw one of my NES controller pads. Now it doesn't work at all. I've verified that it's not the NES port, since the other controller works in both. Taking it apart doesn't indicate anything wrong. Any help? Anyone know if you can buy just a controller pad and how much one costs?

75.1 | $15.00 for Nintendo others available in stores | CSSE::MILLER | Normal Insanity | Tue Mar 08 1988 16:47 | 13 |
I believe Nintendo list the controllers for $15.00 mail order. Though I haven't seen "Nintendo" replacements in the stores, several third party ones are available. Other notes have specifics. Prices seem to run around $20 and up. Also, I am interested in getting "Broken" controllers to use the boards and cables in building custom "Arcade" controllers..see note 3.9. I have used the parts from a Wico replacement and the proto is running fine. Ron M. | |||||

Sounds to me like it's a good time for you to buy the NES Advantage :-) Actually, I believe Toys-R-Us in Manchester has Nintendo replacement joysticks....I can look and get back to you... Russ |
