I have Negoita & Ralescu's "Simulation, Knowlege-based Computing, and Fuzzy Logic" (Van Nostrand Reinhold), which seems to be pretty authoritative. There is also a good text on Fuzzy Arithmetic in the ML library, which gives some algorithms that I implemented. I looked at the uses of fuzzy arithmetic a couple of years ago in the context of Critical Path Analysis, but it seemed to me to be TOO fuzzy to be useful arithmetically. Lynn Yarbrough |
