Anybody have a soft copy of the Collected Algorithms of CACM? It would be nice to have a copy accessable over the net. Algo 230 and 231 are not too long and I could type them in. However, in the past (and probably the future) I have encountered some tedious algorithms to type in and a softcopy would have been (will be) welcomed. Sieg

The collected algorithms are on file at various Digital libraries, such as the Mill. Those sound like old algorithms, and are probably fairly short. Note that you can also obtain ACM algorithms from netlib (as well as much more of interest). Netlib is mantained by Jack Dongarra, currently at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. You can obtain an index by sending the message "send index" to DECWRL::"[email protected]" Also of interest may be the statlib server, available from DECWRL::"[email protected]" Request the index via the same message "send index". - Jim |
