| I think Thomas's book is still one of the standard ones. I used it in
freshman calc, and it was adequate. But like most engineers, I really
only learned any math when solving engineering problems. I have too
much trouble with abstractions.

| -.1. Found a copy in the library dated 1972. It complements the
one I mentioned very well. We were covering Taylor's Theorem, and
it helped me understand what the other was not.
