Here's an interesting result by Morris Newman:
All rational values of x and y such that
sin pi(x) sin pi(y)
is a positive rational, normalized so that 0 < x <= y <= 1/2, are given by:
x 1/2 1/3 1/4 1/6 1/10 1/12
y 1/2 1/3 1/4 1/6 3/10 5/12.
