| I like some of the tapes from the FIRM. These and others are reviewed
extensively in the Aerobics notes conference (ELESYS::AEROBICS).
How hard a workout do you want? The FIRM tapes are not easy, but a
beginner can use them and work up to the levels with weights. They have
general workout tapes and a parts series, as well.
If you can't find them in stores their number in the US is
1-800-the-firm. They will not ship overseas, though (this mattered to
me at the time I got mine.)
I also had a Kathy Smith tape that I liked, but it's the wrong format
for my VCR over here. There was nothing specially hard in it, but it
got your heart rate up in the right zone, kept it there for 35 minutes
and worked on every major muscle group (somewhat) for the whole thing.
It also had a longer-than-average cool down with good stretching
exercises.
Also, just try a few at the local video store before you buy anything.

| Hi,
I have alot of workout tapes. I recently purchased Richard Simmons'
Disco Sweat and I like that one alot since I like disco music. I guess
it depends - what type of music do you like? I get a catalog from
Collage Video that just sells all exercise videos and they give the
reviews on them, price, etc. I try to remember to bring it in
tomorrow so I can give you the 800 # to call them and get a catalog.
