Did anyone here on the news about pasta not being a good diet food
because it causes sugar in the body? I missed it and my husband
only caught the tail end. We eat a lot of pasta so I was wondering
if someone who heard the whole thing could elaborate. I'm hoping
he misunderstood!

I purposely didn't watch it!! I don't want to know, frankly! ;-) I
have always believed the issue to be the same as with potatoes - it's
not the pasta or potato, but what you put on it. Also, 1 cup of cooked
pasta is one serving, and most people eat several cups.

Hi! I'm new to this conference so you haven't heard from me before.
As for the pasta scare, I did see a news story and evidently some
people have a problem with their body being able to properly process
the pasta. From what I understand this is a small percentage and
should not affect the majority of us pasta lovers! Hope this helps.
