Did anyone here on the news about pasta not being a good diet food because it causes sugar in the body? I missed it and my husband only caught the tail end. We eat a lot of pasta so I was wondering if someone who heard the whole thing could elaborate. I'm hoping he misunderstood! RS

I purposely didn't watch it!! I don't want to know, frankly! ;-) I have always believed the issue to be the same as with potatoes - it's not the pasta or potato, but what you put on it. Also, 1 cup of cooked pasta is one serving, and most people eat several cups. Susan | |||||

Hi! I'm new to this conference so you haven't heard from me before. As for the pasta scare, I did see a news story and evidently some people have a problem with their body being able to properly process the pasta. From what I understand this is a small percentage and should not affect the majority of us pasta lovers! Hope this helps. June |
