DOES ANYONE HAVE A DIET I CAN GO ON??? I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE GYM 5 DAYS A WEEK, I DO 40 MINUTES ON THE TREADMILL- 250 SITUPS/CRUNCHES-25 MINUTES ON THE BIKE. I ONLY EAT ONCE A DAY BECAUSE IF I EAT I USUALLY GET CARRIED AWAY AND EAT TO MUCH. I AM 5'7 AND WEIGH 154 TOOOO MUCH. I WOULD LIKE TO GET DOWN TO 140 AT LEAST. I DO NOT HAVE A SOFT BODY, IT IS HARD BUT I NEED TO LOSE SOME THIGHS AND WEIGHT IN THE ARMS. I NEED TO CUT AND DEFINE MY BODY. I LIKE THE WAY BODY FITNESS WOMEN LOOK.. AND THAT IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACHEIVE BY JULY OR AT LEAST SOME WEIGHT... PLEASE SOME GIVE SOME ADVICE THAT WORKED FOR YOU..... NEED HELP! DANA

Well, first of all, if your body is hard, then you don't have any fat to lose. "Hard" is muscle and "soft" is fat. If you want to lose muscle, stop exercising so much. Second, eating once a day is likely to put your body in to "starvation mode" which will make it save energy (calories) instead of expend it. Eating moderate regular meals is better for your weight and health. If you can do it, modifying your food on a permanant basis to be lower fat is the best way to lose weight. Some people can't do that, (like me) so they go on food plans - like Weight Watchers or whatever. (I think WW is a very good program.) D! | |||||

Dana, Have you ever thought about running, but not on a treadmill? Some people experience weightloss running outside, up and down hills, something that a treadmill tries to simulate.
