My cousin has just discovered that she is expecting a baby
in September. She will coming to visit me in a couple of
months and asked me to find out where she could shop for
large size maternity clothing. She wears size 22-24.
I know none of the large size clothing chains like 16Plus
carry maternity clothing, so does anyone know of some good
places to shop?
I live in the central Mass area, but we could very easily
travel up to Southern NH.
Thanks in advance!

Linda -
I wore a 22-24 when I was pregnant, and I found that the 1/2 sizes
(like 22-1/2 and 24-1/2) fit me just fine throughout my pregnancy.
Most half-sizes are cut fuller in the "girth" area, which allowed
enough room for growth :^) . I also wore chemise styles, which are
fitted rather nicely at the shoulders but fall loosely elsewhere. Any
large-size clothing shop should have those styles.
For casual clothes, I literally _lived_ in harem-style pants. They have
a small "yoke" at the waist and the fabric is gathered through the
hips, and it's real full in front and back. I just bought the next size
(or two sizes) up from what I usually wore, and my growing tummy fit
just fine.
Good luck with finding some great clothes!
