| Traveling can be a real challenge when you are "eating healthy"! ;-) I have
found, though, that more and more restaurants are accomodating us. The way I
approach meals on the road is the same way I would at home. Lots of fruit
plates, pasta with a light sauce, broiled or baked poultry and fish. I order
everything with dressing or sauce on the side. For breakfast I usually end up
with cereal and fruit.
For me it is a real treat to find good food while I am away from home. It means
I don't have to shop, prepare, or clean up after myself! ;-o

| There is a book out (sorry, I can't remember the title) that deals with exactly
this subject. It talks about the kinds of foods to avoid and to order in all
kinds of restaurants. It categorizes the restaurants by cuisine, too (chinese,
mex, french, american, etc.) It also gives estimations of caloric/fat content
for typical menu items. And, it gives tips on how to order to reduce the fat
and calories without resorting to bland and boring.

| I've lost touch with the person that had a copy, but I remember him saying that
he found it in one of the book stores around the corner from the Harvard Coop.
