    How many grams of fat is one allowed in a day?

|     I have heard that you should have no more than 30 grams of fat per day,
    and that haveing NO fat is bad for you.

|     30 grams is about right.
    Most nutritionists say limit calories from fat to 15-20% of all the
    calories you eat.
    If you're on a 1500 calorie/day diet, then that works out to between
    225 and 300 calories.  30 grams of fat is 270 calories, so that's in
    the ballpark.

|     I like to keep my fat intake between 10-15 grams/day.  I 
    am trying to lose fat while gain muscle, so I only cheat
    once a week from my "diet"
