| Hi Ann,
I too am have a hard time remotivating. When I'm motivated I do great. I lost
almost 30lbs on Weight Watchers 2 years ago. Right now I'm only 8lbs from
where I was when I started.
I'm trying to read these notesfiles and think about what I'm eating again.
This is a start. I've also talked with 2 other people about starting WW
on our own again and meeting once a week to motivate eachother. So, I'm
at least looking in the right directions 8^)
I'm trying to remember how good I felt when I was thin (and how many more
things I'd have to wear!)
So yes, you're not alone. Good luck getting going.

| You are not alone at all. Just don't give up. Thats when I gain the
most weight. I don't know if your into reading or not, but I've found
that if you find a self help book that suits you, you can get motivated
to lose the weight. I'm starting again today.
I'm reading a Christian approach book (bought from a used book store)
called Free to be Thin by Marie Chapian. That approach is working for
me. There are other books that might appeal to you more. Different
approaches. And then, some people don't like books at all and feel
that they don't help one bit.
We're all different, and different things work with different people. I
think we all just need to find what works. Then comes the hardest
part. Putting it into action and not giving up. I really started
watching what I was doing 2 days ago, went off it yest.--and picked
myself back up and have started seriously watching what I eat, praying,
having a journal to record food intake and thoughts (and quotes). And
I've started walking during lunch again. 1.5 miles.
I dont know if this has helped at all. I tend to ramble. But my
thoughts are with you, and I wish you the best of luck. Just don't
give up hope. When your ready to get serious about losing the weight
you will. Until you get tough on yourself and are ready to lose the
weight, you won't.
