Has anyone out there tried "Healthy Choice" ground beef? It's about 96% fat free, and does have some "fillers" in it like oat flour. I was wondering about the taste. Is it like "real" ground beef? Thanks, Liz (been away from this notes file a LONG time)

I know a lady who tried it and she said you are better off buying the 90% diet lean ground beef if you want it for hamburgers. It is very dry, unless you make a meatloaf or that type of food. b | |||||

I tried it in tacos and it was fine. I think I have this psychological "thing" about food that isn't quite what it's suppossed to be (i.e., this has oat flour in it so to me it's not beef). I can't tolerate ground turkey! I think I'll stick to the real lean real beef. Thanks, Liz |
