Hi, My wife and I sometimes try to fool ourselves or our sweet teeth by buying carrob coated raisins as opposed to choclate stuff. Now we are both on diets more or less, actually we are trying to lose weight, without being on a strict diet.Anyway what I was wondering is what is the story behind carrob? Is it really better for us then choclate, what is the difference other then the taste? Thanks Bob

Last time I looked, carob was equivalent in calories to chocolate. FOr those of us who are allergic to chocolate, carob is great. - andy | |||||
