| | I just thought of something. Since I have 3 1/2 P left still, I think I'll
make Chicken & Broccoli Fettuccini. That way I can use them up, plus they are
less calories. I'll use all my protein plus -85 calories.
I still have no idea what to do for dessert though. I don't really want to
use ALL of my optional since I still have 2 full days left before a new week.
So, still any ideas are welcome!

| | HI,

Why not make a pretty display of fresh fruit? My husband is
a chef also, and that's his favorite. You can get a variety
of "exotic" fruits and make it look really special. You can
leisurely munch on the fruit slices/bits/balls (whatever) and
    just enjoy the conversation.

That's what I would do! Good luck! (I still get a little
    nervous cooking for my chef!!)

| | That's a good idea too. My other one is make chocolate mouse pie with whipped
cream and strawberries around the edges.
I'll see what I end up with coming out of the grocery store.
Thanks for the idea!

| 640.4 | CHOCOLATE CAKE LOW IN FAT | CSS::KLATSKIN |  | Mon Jan 21 1991 17:53 | 8 |
| | I just cut out a recipe for a chocolate loaf cake with very little fat.
The recipe came from the newest Woman's Day magazine. It uses Karo
Corn Syrup, and can be found as part of the Karo C.S. ad.

I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good.

You might want to check out the magazine and this specific recipe while
    at the supermarket.

| | During the winter fresh fruit is such a treat (and more expensive than
most everything else too!) How about a modified triffle (sp.) Layer
fresh fruit, i.e. sliced kiwi, banana, strawberries with diet vanilla
pudding. If you do it in individual parfat glasses you can control
your portion. If you do it in a large bowl (like a giant brandy
snifter) you layer the edge fruit up against the glass. Tres eligant
and you've only used up 1F and 1M if it's diet pudding (heck you could
have two helpings at that rate!) I've never made it yet when someone
has detected that it was diet pudding. If you really want to get
extravagant... put in a few tsps of sherry in the non WW groups for a
    little extra something.

    Enjoy yourself!
