Hi--
My father is interested in some diet he saw on TV called "HerbalLife"
(I may not have the spelling right).
Does anyone have any info on how I can order this diet, or does
anyone happen to know of a dealer? (If I understand correctly, this
plan is marketed in a similar manner to Amway ...)

If it's HerbaLife, you'll be spending a lot of money for some
herbs that are potent laxatives.
Your father can expect to lose lots of weight, mostly water and
solid waste, and hardly any fat at all (since it's nearly impossible
to metabolize fat w/o sufficient water and laxatives take lots of
water out of the body).
If he's lucky, he won't develop any medical complications from
being dehydrated on this diet, and if he's on it for less than a few
months, he shouldn't develop a laxative dependence.

I hear ya. Nevertheless, my father is the stubborn type. He's
interested in this diet.
So, my request still stands ... anyone know how I can get hold of the
stuff??

Hi, It looks like this note has been dead for a while... Has anyone recently tried HERBALIFE? I would like to try it, but after trying almost everything on the market (including MEDIFAST) I'm a little skeptical. I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor to see what he thinks of the plan, but didn't know if anyone out there had tried it....So far, all I really know for sure is that it's pretty expensive...
