Has anyone tried the "NO_FAULT" System diet?

It claims that because overweight people lack the proper body chemistry
to burn fat, that their bodies store it. Medical science has isolated
the hormones that tell yiour body whether to be fat or thin. The first
hormone is call somatotropin. It tells your cells to burn fat and
build strong, firm muscle tissue. The second hormone is prostaglandin.
This hormone substance keeps the body's fat storage in healthy
balance. Most overweight people are drastically deficient in these
hormones, but now we know how to compel the body to produce these
hormones in large amounts so that weight loss is more easily activated.

They sell a months supply for about $40...

Can anyone tell me of any side effects or success with this...

    Thanks,

| Sounds suspiciously like "take these tablets and lose weight!".

I'm very doubtful that this is anything more than a scam but would be
    happy to be wrong.

I agree with Andy: it would be great if there were the Great
Magic Pill that would make (and keep) us all slim and trim.
Unfortunately, there is no such magic pill.

While some overweight people indeed have body chemistries that are
different from some normal-weight people, the fundamental and
inescapable reason for obesity is eating too much of the wrong
stuff. What to eat and how much to eat will vary from person to
person; in the end, though, the overwhelming majority of those
people who lose weight and keep it off are those who change their
       eating and exercise habits.

It's hard enough to lose weight, and it's no less difficult to
keep it off. It's a cruel hoax for someone to raise the hopes of
those who suffer from obesity with snake oil remedies that don't
       address the real issues.

| .0> Can anyone tell me of any side effects or success with this... The side effects I expect are: 1. You will not lose fat and build muscle, as the ad implies 2. You will be unsatisifed with the long term results 3. You will ask for your money back -mike z | |||||

I have to disagree with one statement made here, I just found out
about a thyroid problem that I have had for quite a while. I stuck to
my diet, faithfully and gained more each week. I went to the doctor's
office to get some answers. He informed me, no matter what you eat
with an inactive thyroid you will gain weight. My body was storing
what ever I was eating turning it to fat, because my metabolism was
messed up. I have been started since then on synthroid therapy daily
and have lost 25 pounds. I agree that most obesity is caused by over
eating, but other reasons enter into the picture as well as I'm sure
    you'll agree.
