I received a letter in the mail the day before yesterday from some
DR. that claims that he has discovered a pill to speed up your
metabolism by increasing your Thermogenisis (sp?). It is guaranteed
that if you do not lose all the weight you want to in one month
that they'll refund your money ($39.95 for a month). They also
state that if you do lose all the weight you want to in the month
that they'll send you another 30 day supply absouloutely free (I
guess to take if you start putting weight on again). The only thing
it didn't state was if it stayed off if you continued to eat good,
etc. Anyone else get anything like this? Any comments or questions?
I don't have the letter with me at work today, but I'll bring it
in tomorrow if anyone has any questions that I don't know the answer
to today. I've been seriously thinking about this, because I KNOW
my metabolism is super slow.

There are no free lunches! You didn't gain the weight overnight, you
won't lose it overnight either.
Please stay away from these "quick weight loss" schemes. There have
been some horrible results documented about them. Some of these pills
are nothing more than sugar/milk tablets....that's if you're lucky
because some of them are deadly---they're contaminated with high levels
of zinc, lead, and God only knows waht else.
Let's lose it the old fashioned way----burn it!
