386.1Excuses....excuses! Tired of them! :^) QBUS::WOODI don't believe in IF anymore!Tue Dec 27 1988 20:4914

    Interesting! Thanks for posting that here. Are there any
    "guidelines" for determining if you are Small, Medium or
    Large framed?? I always used to hear when growing up....
    "But you're big-boned........." etc....etc...My mom still
    does this to me now and then and I'm 40 years old! :^)

    I don't consider myself "big-boned" but wonder how we are
    supposed to determine if we are??!! Any thoughts/comments?

    	Thanks.

	You can assume you have a medium frame, unless you think
    otherwise.

    	There are guidelines for determining your body type, be
    it ecto-, meso-, or endomorphic, but I forgot them ...

386.3weighing the factsRAINBW::FANEUFWed Dec 28 1988 10:0811
    My husband and I have decided to start a family and I was
    wondering if a new way of eating and exercise would alter
    the chances of conception at all. I have not been on any
    kind of diet or program for about a year and have gained
    10-15 pounds. Everyone says you should loose your
    excess weight before you get pregnant, so you will have
    an easier time loosing after the baby. I was just wondering
    if anyone has any info for me regarding diet and conception.

    Thanks a lot.

386.4wrist size = frameJAILER::LEFEVREFri Dec 30 1988 16:1411
    I called a weight loss clinic and asked what my ideal weight should
    be. They told me to measure my wrist to determine what size frame
    I have. I'm not sure of the whole thing, but I know that for a female,
    if your wrist is smaller than 5 1/2" then you have a small frame.
    If it is over 5 1/2" then it is a medium or large frame. But I don't
    know the measurement to determine between medium and large frame.
    You can call a diet center and they will tell you what size frame
    you have by how many inches your wrist is.

    My wrist measures 7"! Is there a "gargantuan" frame size?

    I have "EXTREAMLY" small hands and wrists (no comments please about
    the correlation between ones hands and other parts of the male anatomy)
    but can assure you that I do not have a small frame. I might be
    true generally but don't bet your life on it.
