382.0. "Candied Carrots - YUM YUM!" by USCTR2::PNOVITCH () Tue Dec 13 1988 13:55
I served these the other night to 5 count'em 5 dinner guests!
None of them were on any kind of diet and they loved them.
There the type of people that eat like big pigs and don't gain an
ounce! Don't ya just love'em.
What you do is cut and boil 8 large carrots and with the same
water add two (2) magic sugar packets (nutra-sweet) and 3 tbsp.
of "Estee" brand Red Raspberry jam (also nutra-sweet).
NOTE: Please, if you're pregnant, don't use Nutra-Sweet! I heard
it gives you severe headaches. For that matter, I wouldn't use
saccarin either!
I made them two days prior to the day I served them, they're great!
I think the longer they marinate, the better they are! Just make
sure they're still orange and not green... ha ha ha!

Yes, after they're boiled add ns and jam. Use the same water that
the carrots were boiled in for max. amount of vitamins!
