Has anyone out there heard of or experienced the new "too good to be true" products that supposedly absorb or surround your food so that it is not digested thereby lowering your caloric intake? One that I have heard advertised is "CALBAN 300". Appreciate your inputs. Linda B

i took calban 3000 for over 3 weeks without realizing any weight loss, i returned the empty containers, and with the aid of american express got a full refund. while on the pills i experienced an alergetic reaction similiar to what you get if you have an intolerance to milk. i still have a 3 weeks supply at the house but i don't plan to use them. your best bet would be to exercise more and eat a low fat/sugar diet. i'm walking 3.6 to 4.8 miles a day, eatting less fat, sugar, etc.. i've lost 7 lbs in the last week and a half | |||||

.0> One that I have heard advertised is "CALBAN 300". This is by no means official, since he's been wrong before, but a neighbor of mine who is a medical student says that the FDA is in the act of acting against this exact pill, "Calban". -mike z |
